Problem:
The Pierre d'Angle non-profit needed a clear, engaging donation page that could integrate cleanly into its existing WordPress website without depending on it for design.
Generic donation tools impose their look and their limits. The non-profit wanted the opposite: a page true to its identity, easy to run for a non-technical team.
Solution:
I built a tailor-made donation page, with a design completely independent from the site's theme, designed to make people want to support the cause.
A dedicated WordPress plugin integrates it into the existing website and lets the team manage it easily, straight from the admin area.
Challenge:
The main challenge was to integrate into an existing WordPress website without inheriting its constraints. The page had to live in the admin area, like the rest of the site, while keeping a design entirely free from the theme.
It all had to stay light, fast and easy to evolve, so it would never weigh down the non-profit's website or complicate their day-to-day.
Summary:
The donation page is live at pierredangle.be/don: a clean WordPress integration through a dedicated plugin and a custom design, independent from the site's theme.
The project shows the value of focused development: a precise need, a short timeline and a result of direct use to the non-profit and the people it helps.
